The Veritas House

Tourist & Visitor Visa Services (USA, Canada, Australia, Europe & UK)

Precision prepared tourist and visitor visa applications for the USA, Canada, Australia, the Schengen Area, and the UK, built around the documentation, financial evidence, and interview standards each authority actually applies.

Five Destinations, One Standard of Preparation

A visitor visa refusal rarely comes down to eligibility – it comes down to how the story was told. Whether you are bound for New York, Toronto, Sydney, Paris, or London, the difference between approval and a refusal stamp is almost always the quality of the file in front of the officer. We build that file with the precision each of these five destinations demands.

Coverage

Tourist and visitor visa applications for the United States (B1/B2), Canada (TRV), Australia (Subclass 600), the Schengen Area (Type C), and the United Kingdom (Standard Visitor).

Key Benefit

An application built around the exact standard of evidence each consulate applies, not a generic template stretched across five different systems

Overview of Our Tourist & Visitor Visa Services

Five countries, five authorities, and five genuinely different ways of deciding who gets to visit. A US consular officer forms a judgment in a two-minute interview. A UK Home Office caseworker reads bank statements line by line, watching for deposits that arrived too conveniently. A Schengen consulate checks a €30,000 insurance certificate against a strict compliance list. Canada and Australia each weigh genuine temporary intent against ties to home differently again. Treating these as one generic “tourist visa” application is the single most common reason preparable, avoidable refusals happen.

Our service is built around that reality. For each destination, we work from the specific documentary standard, financial threshold, and evidentiary expectation that authority actually applies not a universal checklist adapted after the fact. That means understanding what a US officer is really testing for in those few minutes, what “fund parking” looks like to a UK caseworker, which insurance certificate a Schengen consulate will actually accept, and how Canadian and Australian officers weigh travel history and ties to home.

The result is a file that reads as complete, consistent, and credible to the specific person reviewing it because it was built for them, not adapted from somewhere else.

Benefits of Our Tourist & Visitor Visa Services

  • A separate, purpose-built strategy for each of the five destinations, rather than one template applied everywhere.
  • Financial documentation prepared to the exact standard each authority expects from the UK’s scrutiny of 6 months bank activity to the Schengen Area’s fixed insurance requirement.
  • Interview preparation calibrated to what each consulate is actually testing for, from the brief, high stakes US B1/B2 interview to UK and Canadian officers assessing ties to home on paper.
  • A completed, error-checked visitor application form the small inconsistencies that most often trigger refusal, caught before submission.
  • Appointment and processing-time guidance specific to your country of residence, since wait times vary enormously by consulate and by season
  • Multi-country planning for clients travelling to more than one of these five destinations, sequenced so each application strengthens rather than complicates the next
  • A clear, honest read of your file’s strengths and weaknesses before you apply not after a refusal has already gone on your record

Requirements by Destination

United States (B1/B2 Visitor Visa) A completed DS-160 online application, a passport valid at least six months beyond your travel date, the MRV application fee, and a mandatory in-person interview at a US embassy or consulate interview waivers have been eliminated for nearly all applicants. The officer’s central question is whether you intend to return home, so evidence of employment, financial stability, and ties to your home country carries far more weight than the itinerary itself. Most approved B1/B2 visas are issued for ten years with multiple entries, though each individual stay is capped at the period granted by the CBP officer at the port of entry, typically up to six months.

Canada (Temporary Resident Visa) A valid passport, proof of sufficient funds, typically three to six months of consistent bank statements rather than a single large balance evidence of ties to your home country, and a clear statement of travel purpose. Prior travel history to visa-strict destinations such as the US, UK, Schengen Area, or Australia meaningfully strengthens a Canadian file. A TRV is generally issued as a multiple-entry visa valid for up to ten years or until passport expiry, with each visit typically permitting a stay of up to six months as determined at the border.

Australia (Visitor Visa, Subclass 600) A valid passport with at least six months validity beyond your intended stay, evidence of genuine temporary intent, and financial and travel documentation appropriate to your chosen stream i.e tourist, business, or sponsored family visit. Depending on the stream and your individual circumstances, the visa may be granted for three, six, or twelve months, at the discretion of the Department of Home Affairs.

Europe (Schengen Type C Visa) A valid passport issued within the last ten years and valid for at least three months beyond your planned departure from the Schengen Area, a completed application form, a travel itinerary, proof of financial means, and critically travel medical insurance meeting a strict minimum of €30,000 in coverage for emergency medical treatment, hospitalisation, and repatriation. This single requirement is one of the most common points of rejection, since many standard travel policies fall short of the specific coverage elements Schengen consulates require. Biometric data collection generally requires an in-person appointment, even where the application itself can be submitted online.

United Kingdom (Standard Visitor Visa) A valid passport, a completed online application, biometric enrolment at a Visa Application Centre, and financial evidence  typically 28 days of bank statements demonstrating consistent activity, not a single inflated balance shortly before applying. The Home Office is particularly alert to what caseworkers term “fund parking”: a large, unexplained deposit just before an application, which can itself trigger refusal. A Standard Visitor Visa permits stays of up to six months per visit, and is available in six-month, two-year, five-year, or ten-year validity options for those who travel to the UK regularly.

The Application Procedure

We begin with a destination by destination assessment of your travel plans, matching each trip to the visa category, evidentiary standard, and financial threshold that specific country applies. Where you are travelling to more than one of these five destinations, we sequence your applications so that a strong, well documented visa history in one strengthens rather than complicates your case in the next.

From there, we prepare your complete documentation file to the standard each authority actually expects financial evidence organised the way a UK caseworker reads it, insurance certificates that meet the Schengen Area’s exact coverage requirements, ties-to-home documentation calibrated to what US, Canadian, and Australian officers are genuinely testing for. We complete and review your application forms line by line, since a single inconsistency between your form and your supporting documents is among the most common, and most avoidable, causes of refusal.

Where an in-person interview or biometric appointment is required, we prepare you specifically for it – for the US, that means readiness for a brief, high-stakes exchange focused almost entirely on your intent to return home; for others, ensuring your documentation stands on its own where no interview takes place at all.

Once submitted, we monitor your application through to a decision, and remain available to advise on next steps whatever the outcome.

Our Commitment

Every visa decision rests solely with the consulate, embassy, or immigration authority concerned, and no service however well prepared can guarantee an approval. What we commit to is genuine, destination-specific precision: financial and documentary evidence prepared to the standard each authority actually applies, not a generic template; honest guidance on where your file is strong and where it needs strengthening before you submit, not after a refusal; and preparation for interviews and biometric appointments grounded in what officers are actually assessing. Before any engagement begins, we set out our respective responsibilities in a clear written agreement.

We handle all five under one engagement, and if you are travelling to more than one, we sequence your applications so each strengthens your file for the next.

The US B1/B2 visa requires a mandatory in-person interview for nearly all applicants, since interview waivers have been largely eliminated. The UK, Canada, and Schengen applications generally require biometric enrolment rather than a full interview, while Australia’s Subclass 600 is typically assessed on documentation alone.

It varies by country, but insufficient or poorly presented evidence of intent to return home is the most consistent thread closely followed by financial documentation that looks inconsistent, incomplete, or, in the UK’s case, artificially inflated shortly before applying.

It is a strict legal requirement for the Schengen Area, with a minimum of €30,000 in medical coverage. It is not always a legal requirement elsewhere, but we recommend appropriate coverage for every destination, and some consulates request evidence of it as standard practice.

This varies significantly by destination and by your specific consulate – US interview wait times alone can range from days to well over a year depending on location. We advise on realistic timelines for your specific country of residence as part of your initial consultation.

It can be a factor, particularly if the refusal reasons weren’t genuinely addressed in a later application. We review any prior refusal in detail and build the strongest possible case around resolving exactly what the previous decision cited.

Typically up to 6 months per visit for the US, Canada, the Schengen Area, and the UK, and 3, 6 or 12 months for Australia depending on the stream and visa granted, though the exact period is always at the discretion of the border officer or issuing authority.

No. All five are strictly for temporary visits, tourism, family visits, or short business activity and do not permit paid work or long-term study in the destination country.
