International Career Services

Purpose-built career and job search support for clients who have received their Canada PR or Australia PR invitation. Market research, resume and cover letter creation, and targeted employer outreach, built around where the jobs actually are.

Your Invitation Is the Beginning, Not the Finish Line

An Invitation to Apply is a milestone. Once your pathway is underway, the real work starts: understanding where your skills are wanted, presenting them the way local employers expect to see them, and reaching the right people before you land. Our International Career Services are built to close that gap.

Pathway

A structured, market-led job search program, workforce research, resume and cover letter localisation, and direct employer targeting, for ITA (Invitation to apply) holders of Canada PR and Australia PR only.

Key Benefit

Walk into your new country with a role in sight, not a search still to start

Overview of International Career Services

Receiving your ITA confirms that Canada or Australia has assessed your profile and found it worth inviting. It says nothing about whether a Toronto hiring manager will recognise your job title, or whether a Melbourne employer will read your CV the way you intended. That gap between qualifying for a country and actually landing work in it is where most newcomers lose months they didn’t need to lose.

This service exists for exactly that gap, and only for it: available exclusively to clients who have already received their Invite. We build a job search strategy around the specific labour market you are entering which province or state is actually hiring in your field, which employers are genuinely open to newcomers, and what a resume needs to say to get past the first screen in that country, not just be accurate.

The result is not a generic CV template or a list of job boards. It’s a targeted campaign: informed by current workforce data, shaped around where the demand for your occupation actually sits, and backed by application documents written the way Canadian and Australian recruiters expect to read them.

Benefits of International Career Services

  • A workforce and market briefing built around your occupation, not a generic country overview
  • Clarity on which province, state, or region is actively hiring in your field so you land where the work is, not just where you’re permitted to live
  • A resume rebuilt to local convention – Canadian and Australian formats, expectations, and screening norms differ meaningfully from what most applicants arrive with
  • A tailored cover letter for every serious application, not a single template reused on repeat
  • A curated shortlist of target employers actively hiring in your occupation and location, rather than a cold, unfocused search
  • Guidance on regional and state nomination priorities where they intersect with real job openings, so your visa strategy and your job search pull in the same direction
  • A head start on networking and outreach before you land, so your search isn’t starting from zero on arrival
  • The confidence of walking into a new country with a plan already in motion, not a blank page

Requirements of International Career Services

This service is available exclusively to clients who hold a confirmed Invitation to Apply for Canada’s Express Entry or Provincial Nominee Program, or Australia’s General Skilled Migration program (Subclass 189, 190, or 491). It is not a standalone job search service, it begins once your PR pathway is already underway, and is built around the occupation and location tied to your specific application.

To build an effective strategy, we work from your nominated occupation classification, your NOC code and TEER category for Canada, or your ANZSCO code for Australia, since this is what determines which regional labour markets, employer types, and demand levels are actually relevant to you. We also need your existing resume, a clear picture of your work history and qualifications, and where already known your intended province, state, or city of settlement, so the market research and employer targeting can be built around a real destination rather than the country in the abstract.

Because labour market conditions shift quickly, a province’s hiring priorities today may differ from what they were even six months ago. We work from current workforce data at the time of your engagement, not static, dated research. Where your intended location isn’t yet fixed, we help you weigh regional demand for your occupation as part of choosing it.

Entry to the Express Entry pool first requires clearing the threshold of at least one federal program. For the Federal Skilled Worker Program, that means a minimum score of 67 out of 100 on a separate selection grid distinct from your eventual CRS ranking built from at least a year of continuous, full-time skilled work in the past decade, a Canadian Language Benchmark of 7 across reading, writing, listening, and speaking, and a formal assessment confirming that any qualification earned outside Canada meets local equivalency standards. The Canadian Experience Class and Federal Skilled Trades Program each apply their own experience and language thresholds in place of this grid.

Candidates who clear a program threshold enter the pool and are scored under the CRS, out of a possible 1,200 points, weighted toward age, education, language proficiency, and work history. Canada draws from this pool regularly, and also runs category-based rounds that give priority to candidates with in-demand attributes – French-language ability, healthcare experience, or trades qualifications among them, often at a markedly lower score than general draws require.

Candidates whose CRS score falls short of recent cut-offs are not without options. Every province except Quebec, which runs its own separate immigration system, operates a Provincial Nominee Program built around its own labour needs. Some streams call for a local job offer or a history of study or work in that province; others do not. A nomination through an enhanced stream is entered directly into your Express Entry profile and adds 600 points, all but guaranteeing an invitation soon after. A nomination through a base stream instead becomes the foundation of a separate, paper-based application lodged straight with the federal government.

Program thresholds, CRS cut-offs, and provincial priorities are reviewed often and can shift with little warning, which is why the strength of an application usually comes down to how well the pathway and timing were chosen, not just how the paperwork was completed.

The Application Procedure

We begin with a working session to understand your occupation, experience, and where you are currently leaning for settlement and where the current data suggests you should be. From there, we research the workforce conditions specific to your field: current demand by province or state, which employers are actively hiring in your occupation, and how competitive the local market for your role actually is right now.

With that picture in hand, we rebuild your resume to match local convention – Canadian and Australian formats favour different structures, different levels of detail, and different signals of credibility than most applicants bring with them and draft cover letters tailored to the specific employers and roles we have identified together, not a single reusable template.

We then compile a target employer list: organisations genuinely hiring in your occupation and location, prioritised by fit and current openings, so your applications go to the right places rather than the widest possible net. Where useful, we also guide you on positioning your search around state or regional nomination priorities, so your visa strategy and your employment search reinforce each other rather than working at cross purposes.

Throughout, we stay engaged as market conditions shift refining the target list and your positioning as your application progresses toward landing.

Our Commitment

No career service, however well built, can guarantee a specific job offer, that decision sits with the employer, and the market moves independently of any of us. What we commit to is genuine market intelligence rather than recycled advice, application documents built for the country you’re actually moving to rather than adapted from a generic template, and a target employer list grounded in real, current demand for your occupation. Before any engagement begins, we set out clearly what this service does and does not cover.

Exclusively clients who have already received an ITA for Canada’s Express Entry or Provincial Nominee Program, or Australia’s General Skilled Migration program. It’s a next step after your visa pathway is underway, not a standalone offering.

Not currently. This service is scoped specifically to ITA holders, since the market research and employer targeting depend on knowing your occupation and, ideally, your visa pathway is already confirmed.

We look at current workforce demand for your specific occupation, not a general country overview combined with any state or regional nomination priorities relevant to your visa. Where you haven’t yet chosen a destination, this research helps inform that decision.

We rebuild it to match Canadian or Australian hiring conventions specifically – structure, level of detail, and the signals local recruiters screen for differ meaningfully from most applicants existing CVs, so this is a genuine localisation, not a light edit.

Yes. Every serious application receives a cover letter tailored to that employer and role, not a single template with the company name swapped in.

From current hiring activity in your occupation and chosen location – organisations genuinely recruiting for roles matching your profile, prioritised by fit, not a broad, unfiltered list of every company in the sector.

Our core scope is market research, resume and cover letter creation, and employer targeting. Speak with us about your specific needs, we can discuss whether additional support fits your situation.

We remain engaged as your search progresses on the ground, refining your target list and positioning as real openings and market conditions develop.
